STUST’s 50th Anniversary

​​​​​​​1969年太空人於月球上邁出了「人類的一大步」，是航太科技史上的重大里程碑。同年，南臺科技大學創校，為教育界的新星。創校迄今50年，跳脫傳統辦學模式，落實產業合作，積極與多國國際著名大學交流，培養國際化人才，提升國際影響力。
​​​​​​​歡慶50年的生日，本校以飄舞中的彩帶及旋轉中的彩球構成「50」字樣，延伸本校LOGO的標準色－紅與藍，發展出充滿活力的黃、橘、綠，喜慶氛圍的紫、橘、靛。右側半圓及線條，也代表著具有經緯度的地球，說明本校的治校理念──「立足台灣、放眼世界」，而三個半圓的疊加為「100」的意象，象徵在歡慶之餘，也展望著下一個五十年。

In the year 1969, a huge milestone was passed in aerospace technology when astronauts completed the first successful moon landing [one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind]. In the same year, The Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology was founded and recognized as a rising star in the field of education. For the past 50 years, our school has transcended traditional educational methods and succeeded in industry cooperation, interacting with world famous universities, producing international level talent and increasing our international influence.
For the 50th anniversary, our campus will display the number [50] using ribbons in the motion of dance and through the rotation of colored balls. Our campus logo colors of red and blue will be proudly represented, further evolving into the energetic colors of yellow, orange, green and the celebrative colors of purple, orange and indigo. The right side of the hemisphere and its lines represent the latitude and longitude of the earth, demonstrating our cohesive approach towards [Building a strong foundation in Taiwan, and aiming for the World]. Three hemispheres will be layered on top of one another forming [100], symbolizing that in the midst of our celebration, we look into the next 50 promising years.
